How to choose an NFC business card in Armenia
When choosing an NFC business card, check what comes with it: a contact link, a page you fill in yourself or a personal website created and maintained by a team. This guide is published by ECV and explains what to compare, followed by our service terms.
The card and website do different jobs
An NFC card stores a link. A compatible smartphone with NFC reading enabled opens it in a browser. Your services, portfolio and contact details are on the website. Evaluate both the physical card and the digital service before ordering.
Check whether a QR code and direct link are available for phones without NFC reading. With ECV, all three open the same page. Visitors do not need an app or account, but they need an internet connection to open the website.
Compare the full cost of the service
Ask whether the quoted price covers the card, website creation or annual service. Check design, content setup, selected languages, hosting and future updates individually. The card price alone does not show the full cost.
Providers' terms can differ. Compare the agreed offer and confirm renewal costs, additional cards and the card handover before ordering.
Decide who will fill in and update the website
If you want to use an editor yourself, check its features and languages. If you prefer a team to do the work, confirm that creating the website, entering the content and making later updates are included.
ECV is a managed service for professionals in different fields. You provide the information and agree on the contents; our team designs, fills and publishes your personal website on ecv.am. Contact ECV for changes. You do not need to register or administer the website yourself.
Check the contents, languages and permanent link
Choose a website that fits your work: contacts, services, experience, education, portfolio, certificates, achievements, workplace addresses or hours. Publish only information and materials agreed for public access.
ECV supports Armenian, Russian and English: choose one language or a combination. Information is updated on the server while your NFC card and QR code keep the same link. The offer described here hosts your personal website on ecv.am; a separate domain is not included.
Understand what happens if you do not renew
Confirm how long the service lasts and what happens when the paid term ends. ECV's first 12 months start on publication. Without renewal, the page pauses and its permanent link shows a temporary-unavailability message. Renewal restores the website without replacing the card.
